Legacy Funeral Home is a Certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business that was established by Jerome D. Lacy in January of 2002. In October of 2006 Mr. Lacy relocated the establishment to Dallas, Texas at the Old Cedar Crest Funeral Home. And In June of 2009 Triple Alliance Enterprises, Inc., the Parent Company of Legacy Funeral Home, purchased a 2 acre commercial property located at 1107 E. Beltline Rd. in Desoto, Texas. It's the future home of Jerome D. Lacy's Legacy Funeral Home DeSoto location.

In August of 2016 Mr. Lacy purchased the defunct Burrow's Funeral Home, a 8,000 sq. ft. facility on 2 acres of land located in Overton, Texas and renamed it Legacy Funeral Home. On November 30, 2016 Legacy Funeral Home opened for business serving the East Texas and Dallas Ft. Worth markets.
