Legacy Funeral Home was founded, by Jerome D. Lacy, in 2002. We are a Service Disabled Certified Veteran Owned Small Business and a bilingual multi-cultural funeral service provider. Serving Dallas County, Tarrant County, Collin County, Denton County, Rusk County, Smith County, Gregg County, Panola County, Harrison County, McLennan County, Bell County, Harris County, Travis County and all surrounding areas. Our facility is over 8,000 sq. ft. with 4 viewing rooms and a chapel that seats over 250 guest. Our customers have the luxury of using our 18th century Legacy Horse Drawn Carriage.

At Legacy, we also have an all Spanish speaking staff ready and available to serve our Hispanic community. Having deep family roots in Dallas and in East Texas affords Mr. Lacy (our owner) the unique opportunity of servicing both communities. We also own 2 acres of commercial property located at 1107 E. Beltline Rd. DeSoto, Texas that will serve as our future location in Dallas County. And our corporate office is located in Desoto, Texas.
